Do QR Cake QR codes expire?
No. A code saved to QR Cake has no expiry date and keeps working as long as your account exists, on the free plan too. If you cancel a paid plan, your account returns to the free plan and your codes keep working, with the short QR Cake page back before the destination. A static website download never expires either, because the URL is in the pattern itself.
Can I edit a QR code after I've printed it?
Yes, if the code is saved to your QR Cake account. Saved codes are dynamic, so you can change the destination, replace the file or update the page details from your dashboard, and every printed copy follows without a reprint. A Website code downloaded without saving is static and can never be changed.
What's the difference between a dynamic and a static QR code?
A static QR code can never be changed, while a dynamic QR code can be edited after it is printed. A static code writes your link straight into the pattern. Yes, except for a static website QR code. You can design a Website QR code and download it without signing up, but that download is static and its URL can never be changed.
