Once a static QR code is created, the data/url the QR code is pointing to can no longer be changed. Our dynamic (changeable) QR codes are forwarded through the QR Cake service, which lets you update destinations anytime and enables scan analytics.

Dynamic QR codes let you change the destination after the code has been printed, so a typo, a moved page, or a new campaign no longer means reprinting. They also give you scan analytics — how many people scanned, when, and where — which static QR codes can't provide.
