QR Cake generator
Create a free email QR code that opens the scanner's mail app with your address, a subject line and a message already filled in, so contacting you takes one scan and one tap. Print it on packaging, signage, invoices and business cards. The code is dynamic: if the contact address or the message changes, edit it in your dashboard and the printed code keeps working.

Choose the Email type and enter the address people should write to. Separate several addresses with commas if an enquiry should reach more than one inbox.
Add an optional subject line, such as 'Quote request from the brochure', and an optional message. Both are prefilled in the scanner's mail app, and they can edit either before sending.
Pick the colors, dot style and corner eyes, add your logo in the middle or a frame with a prompt such as 'Scan to email us'.
Save the code to your free account so you can change the address later, then download a PNG or SVG for print. A download without saving gives you a static code that holds the email itself and cannot be edited.
Scan the code with an iPhone and an Android phone, check that the right address and subject appear, and send yourself a test email before it goes to print.
Customer support on packaging and manuals: a code with the product in the subject line sends support requests to the right inbox.
Quote requests on vans, flyers and invoices: tradespeople get enquiries with a subject that says which placement brought them in.
Property enquiries on for-sale signs: viewers email the agent about that specific listing without typing an address.
Press and partnership contact on event signage and programmes: journalists and exhibitors reach the organiser directly.
Job applications on adverts and notices: candidates email the hiring manager with the role already in the subject.
Fault reporting in offices and facilities: staff scan a code on the printer or in the meeting room and the asset is prefilled.
Business cards and email signatures in print: give new contacts a one-tap way to write to you, and update the address when you change jobs.
Feedback and complaints on receipts and menus: a prefilled message prompts people to say what happened, so you hear about problems before they become reviews.
Put the code on the van, on invoices and on flyers so customers can request a quote with a subject line that tells you which one they saw.
Add a 'Questions? Scan to email us' code to packaging inserts and manuals so support requests arrive with the product name already in the subject.
Print a code on for-sale signs and brochures so viewers can email the agent about that property, with the address prefilled in the subject.
Place a code at the information desk or on the programme so attendees, exhibitors and press can reach the organiser's inbox without hunting for an address.
Put a code on job adverts, campus notices and course flyers so candidates and students can email the right department with the role or course in the subject.
Stick a code by the printer, in meeting rooms or on equipment so staff can report a fault to facilities with the room or asset number already filled in.
A plain email address on a flyer makes people copy it by hand, and most never do. An email QR code removes that step: the scan opens their mail app with everything prepared, so an enquiry, a quote request or a support ticket starts in seconds. A subject line you choose tells you where the email came from, and a prefilled message gives people a template they can edit before they send it.
The difference between a static email QR code and a QR Cake one is what happens later. A static code has the address baked into the pattern, so when the person handling enquiries leaves, or you move from a personal address to a shared inbox, every printed copy is wrong. A saved QR Cake code redirects through a short link instead. Change the address in your dashboard and the printed code, the one already on packaging and signs, simply points at the new one.
Because the code goes through QR Cake, you also learn how it is used. On the Pro and Business plans, scan analytics show how often each code is scanned and from where, so a separate code per placement tells you whether the invoice, the packaging or the shop window brings in more contact. You can also pause a code, protect it with a password, or print it with your own domain on it.

An email QR code is a QR code that opens a new email when scanned, with the recipient, the subject and the body already filled in. The person scanning only has to tap send. QR Cake makes the code dynamic: the printed code points at a short link that redirects to the email, so you can change the address, the subject or the message at any time and every code you have already printed shows the new version on the next scan.
The QR type is already selected. Add your content, style the code, then save it to a free account to get a dynamic QR code you can update anytime.
Make an email QR codeChoose the Email type in the QR Cake generator, enter the address, add an optional subject and message, then save and download the code. When someone scans it, their mail app opens a new email with those details filled in, and they tap send.
Yes. QR Cake's free plan includes up to 5 dynamic QR codes, email codes included, with unlimited scans and no credit card. On the free plan, each scan first shows a short ad page with a few-second countdown. Paid plans from $2.99 a month remove it, and scan analytics come with Pro and Business.
Yes, if the code is saved to your QR Cake account. The printed code points at a short link, and the link redirects to the current address. Edit the address, the subject or the message in your dashboard and the code you have already printed shows the new version on the next scan. A code downloaded without saving is static and cannot be changed.
Yes. Both are optional. The subject and the message appear in the scanner's mail app, and the person can edit them before sending. Many businesses use the subject to identify where the email came from, such as 'Enquiry from the brochure'.
Yes. Separate the addresses with commas and the email is addressed to all of them. CC and BCC fields are not supported.
No. Scanning opens a new email in the person's mail app with the details filled in. They decide whether to send it, and they can change the message first. QR Cake never sees or sends the email.
A static email QR code holds the address itself, so it works offline but can never be changed: a new address means reprinting every copy. A dynamic QR Cake code holds a short link that redirects to the email, so the address, subject and message can be edited at any time, and Pro and Business plans count the scans. You can download either from QR Cake: save the code to your account for a dynamic one, or download without saving for a static one.
No. QR Cake codes have no expiry date, including on the free plan. A saved email code keeps working as long as your account exists, and you can update the address whenever your contact details change.
